Country house weddings create the most straightforward case for hired beds. A private estate or country house that comfortably sleeps twelve as a family home becomes a wedding venue for sixty, eighty, or a hundred guests - and the maths do not add up without some creative thinking about where people sleep. The permanent bedrooms go to the couple and close family. Everyone else needs a solution. For many country house weddings, that solution is converting outbuildings, barns, stables, or garden rooms into temporary sleeping accommodation. Hired beds make that conversion work properly: guests get a real mattress, a proper frame, and dressed linen rather than an airbed on a stone floor. The beds arrive before the wedding, we set them up in whatever space has been designated for guest sleeping, and we collect them once the weekend is done. The estate or house returns to normal with no extra equipment left behind. Marquee and tipi weddings present a different but related challenge. Large marquees erected in a field or garden can accommodate the wedding breakfast and evening reception without difficulty, but sleeping arrangements for guests who have come a long way - or who simply want to stay on-site after a long evening - require a separate plan. Some couples solve this by positioning beds inside a secondary marquee structure designated as a sleeping area. Others use the tipi itself for a small number of guests, particularly the bridal party, while remaining guests are directed to outbuildings or converted spaces on the same site. These venues often have a fixed bedroom count that forms part of their accommodation package, but when a couple books a larger wedding than the venue's permanent bedrooms can support, the coordinator needs a way to offer additional overnight sleeping to clients without investing in permanent infrastructure.
